As he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion -- a ragtag group of retired superheroes, only one of whom has true powers -- Rorschach glimpses a wide-ranging and disturbing conspiracy with links to their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the future. Ya comenzó el rodaje de este film que adapta el genial libro de Chuck Palahniuk "Choke" ("Asfixia"). Clark Gregg, el director, dijo: "Es una adaptación tramposa, por que como gran parte del trabajo de Chuck, opera en un elevadamente satírico mundo oscuro, y aun así es una de sus comedias románticas negras, por eso encontrarle bien el tono me tomo algo de tiempo."El elenco lo integran Sam Rockwell (como Victor Mancini), Angelica Huston ( como Ida Mancini),Kelly MacDonald (como la doctora Paige Marshall) y Brad Henke (como Denny).
Un tal "Angry Ritch", en su pagina de MySpace, comento lo siguiente: "The filming of Choke has begun as of this past Monday, 7/9. They filmed the strip club scenes in one day at the bar that I work in. As it was a closed set, I was not allowed to be present during the filming, even as an extra! It was filmed at 'Titillations' in Bloomfield, NJ; shooting wrapped at about 4:30 PM. They used some of our dancers as extras as well as our bartender. Apparently, the shoot went well and is in the can. I got a copy of the script for that day, as well as the location for the next shoot. It's in a sushi restraunt in Montclair NJ (right up the road) on Bloomfield Ave. Scenes shot in Victor's Apartment will also be shot in West Orange NJ. According to the crew, the release date is targeted for Fall 2008."
Si todo sale bien, "Choke" se estrenara en Julio año que viene.

Vamos a esperar a que salga la película de Watchmen antes de ponerla a caer del burro. Estando como esta el percal y viendo los ultimos fiascos como Transformer lo más probable es que la cagen a lo grande, ademas Moore no es tan cuidadoso como Miller a la hora de ceder sus derechos.
Los de DC no se rompen la cabeza con los nombres. Crisis a tutiplen.
